We welcome Siku, our new American Eskimo puppy to
the Sehi-Smith home! Siku arrived from New Cambria, Kansas via Dallas to
Albuquerque on American Airlines Flight 649 on February 14, 2005. She
was born on December 22, 2004.
"Siku" is an Athapaskan (and Inupiaq) word for
"ice". The Athapaskans are the Alaskan-dwelling
ancestors of the Navajo and Hopi peoples of the Southwest United States |
